Acacia canopy on the Serengeti plains

Tanzania travel guide

A little knowledge. A richer journey.

Get to know the seasons, prepare for the trail and find answers to the practical questions. Start here, then shape the details around your trip.

A few questions before you go.

Are the sample tours fixed packages?

No. They are ideas to help you begin. Routes, duration, stays and activities can be adapted. Availability, prices and terms are confirmed only in your individual proposal.

Can we combine trek, safari and beach?

Yes. Allow enough time for transfers, recovery after a trek and the experiences you care most about. A shorter trip is often better with fewer destinations.

Are safari trips private?

We plan private itineraries. Any shared transport, scheduled flight or group activity will be identified in the proposal before you book.

Can you plan for families?

Share your children’s ages, preferred pace and room requirements. Accommodation policies and activity age limits vary and need to be checked individually.

How fit do I need to be for a trek?

Requirements depend on the route. Kilimanjaro and Meru are demanding altitude journeys, and fitness does not prevent altitude illness. Discuss your plans with a qualified clinician and allow appropriate preparation and acclimatization.

Does sending an inquiry confirm a booking?

No. We first discuss your plans and prepare a proposal. Your agreed itinerary, price, inclusions and booking terms are confirmed separately.
